Leaflets are larger than Ceiba pentandra, margin is wavy/undulating.Single flower appear on the branches.Flowers are magenta, red size of a large boul. Flower has nectar.Green colour, ellipsoidal pod that opens along the suture.Black, round deeds are embedded in a cotton cover inside the pod.
